England's under-17s lost the opening game of the FA International Tournament at Rushden & Diamonds.
They were beaten 2-1 by Portugal in front of just over 1,000 fans at Nene Park - despite taking the lead through Manchester United midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe on 13 minutes.

Porto striker Filipe Barros equalised two minutes before the break and then put the visitors in front four minutes into the second half.

Jacob Walcott - a distant relation of Theo - hit the post but England could not get back on level terms.

They are also in action at Peterborough United on Friday and Northampton Town on Sunday.
