Two people injured in head-on crash in Northamptonshire village
The air ambulance landed in Brixworth this morning following a crash involving two vehicles.
The Magpas Air Ambulance, which covers the East of England, landed at 11.30am in the village following the crash during which two people were injured.
Both patients were trapped in their vehicles.
The air ambulance crew worked with Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue to release a man in his 50s who had sustained head and leg injuries.

Hide AdHe then airlifted to University Hospital Coventry where he was in a stable condition upon arrival.
The other patient, a woman, sustained minor injuries and was taken by land ambulance to Northampton General Hospital.
