'Disgusting' pile of rubbish fly-tipped near Wollaston

A Great Doddington resident has shared his disgust at the latest fly-tipping at a beauty spot.
Stephen Page's partner spotted the newly-tipped load of assorted junk this morning at 6am when she was travelling in Hardwater Road between Great Doddington and Wollaston.

Hide AdThe load of plastic tubs, household items, an old bath and a even a wellington boot were blocking the gate leading to Earls Barton Fishing Lakes.
Mr Page said: "I think it's disgusting and there is too much of it going on around here. More needs to be done about it."
At the start of lockdown figures revealed that incidents of fly-tipping in the north of Northamptonshire had reduced but the weight and volume of rubbish had increased.
In July, a 'staggering' amount of rubbish was found near Kettering and an 'appalling' amount in Finedon.
