Northamptonshire Police responded to a call at 10am this morning (October 22) about a man acting suspiciously in a supermarket car park in Towcester Road, Northampton, and reportedly being seen taking things out of people's trolleys.
The incident happened at Aldi supermarket in Towcester Road.
Police later arrested a 28-year-old man who is currently in custody and being questioned.
