Every now and again, it’s nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre and unwind by taking a peaceful walk through one of Northamptonshire’s many beautiful villages.
Now is the perfect time for it with our countryside currently bursting with rich autumnal colours. The opportunity to wrap up in our jumpers, pack a flask of a choice hot beverage and feel the crunch of leaves under our feet feels too good to resist.

1. Creaton
Creaton is a village and civil parish in Daventry. There are currently around 500 residents living there. In the centre of the village is a large, sloping green. The church of St Michael and All Angels has a low stone tower and dates right back to the 13th century! Photo: Emily Askew
2. Stoke Bruerne

Badby is a village and rural parish situated in Daventry, which spreads over around 2,020 acres of countryside. Amy, who took this photograph, said that the tree was "buzzing" with all of the bees on it. Photo: Amy Hatton
