Duckworth returns with Recreations gig
Familiar to many as the singer songwriter behind Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly., Duckworth’s new album Baby Boomers 2 is out tomorrow and he returns to the region on Sunday.
The self produced album is full of wide-eyed, big-dreaming, conscientious pop songs delivered with looser funk, crisper electronics.

Hide AdFalling half way between Get Cape and his experiments, Recreations is the product of two years of investigation.
Fans will recognise his distinct lyrical nouse, but in his own words, Recreations is “more heart on sleeve, bolder, more direct, and a little bit more emo”.
He said: “I always get tagged as being a political musician but most of my songs aren’t political.
“It’s just that a lot of the stuff I do outside music is. So I wanted to do an album that was sort of both.”
Recreations play the Atic in Banbury on Sunday, May 1.
