Woman arrested after brandishing knife in Kettering pharmacy
The incident took place at 10.45am at the store in the Newlands centre.
The woman entered the store and produced a “large kitchen knife” before waving it around.

Hide AdOnlooker Mark Dickenson called the police and the store was evacuated.
He said: “I could hear shouting and then saw the woman with the knife.
“It was a big kitchen knife, probably about five to six inches long.
“She was screaming and swearing and went behind the medication counter rooting through the drugs.
“I called the police and the store was evacuated before she was arrested.”
A police spokesman confirmed that a 37-year-old woman was arrested at the scene, adding that she had mental health issues.
