Youngsters make goody bags for staff at Kettering's ICU

These girls have been doing their bit to say thank you to our NHS heroes.
Cottingham youngsters Jess and Maisy, both aged 11, have been busy in lockdown making home-sewn bags filled with goodies including popcorn, chocolate, sweets and a candle for key NHS workers.

Hide AdCottingham resident Jo Lonsdale, a deputy sister on KGH’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU), took delivery of the 22 goody bags and handed them out to the team on their ward at the hospital.
Jo said: “The staff on ICU loved the bags.
“It was such a lovely personal gesture and very thoughtful.
"Staff were very touched by the girls’ generosity.”
Jess and Maisy are now busy working on bags for the homeless and deciding what they think would be useful contents for them.
